(CNN) -- Entertainer Michael Jackson died after being taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest, CNN confirmed.
A Los Angeles fire official told CNN that paramedics arrived at Michael Jackson's home after a 911 call.
Lt. Fred Corral, the Los Angeles County Coroner said Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Thursday.
He also said Jackson was unresponsive when he arrived at the hospital.
Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, said he was told by brother Randy Jackson that Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in west Los Angeles, California, Thursday morning.
Family members were told of the situation and were either at the hospital or en route, Oxman said.
"I can only tell you that the family members are crying," Oxman said.
Fire Capt. Steve Ruda told CNN a 911 call came in from a west Los Angeles residence at 12:21 p.m.
Ruda said Jackson was treated and transferred to the UCLA Medical Center.

NEW PANDEMIC PHASE PROTECT

The Federal Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon, after consultation with State and Territory governments, announced today that Australia has developed a new response phase to manage the outbreak of H1N1 Influenza 09 (Human Swine Influenza) called PROTECT.
On the advice of the Chief Medical Officer, Professor Jim Bishop, and the Australian Health Protection Committee, a new pandemic phase has been created to guide the ongoing Australian response to the disease.
The new phase recognises that the infection with H1N1 Influenza 09 is not as severe as originally envisaged when the Australian Health Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza (AHMPPI) was written in 2008 and that this new disease is mild in most cases, severe in some and moderate overall.
PROTECT sits alongside CONTAIN and SUSTAIN phases with a greater focus on treating and caring for people in whom the disease may be severe.
PROTECT is a measured, reasonable and proportionate health response to the risk that the infection poses to the Australian community. It is consistent with the message from the WHO when it lifted its Pandemic Alert to 6, that countries will need to adjust their responses to accommodate the knowledge we now have that this disease is moderate in most cases.
Jurisdictions will be making arrangements progressively over the next few days to move to this new level and we anticipate that all states will be at this level by next Friday 26 June.

The current international situation
As at 16 June 2009, 76 countries have reported over 35,900 confirmed cases, including 163 deaths. The outbreak in Australia has spread very rapidly and there are now 1,823 confirmed cases, mainly centred in north Melbourne, although there are some cases in every state.
Other countries with large numbers of confirmed cases are Canada with 2,978, Chile with 1,694, Mexico with 6,241, United Kingdom with 1,226 and the United States of America with 17,855.

Frozen leg o.O Rofl!!

(2) We parked our car @ basement 3, but couldn’t find the entrance, no direction board or anything!!
(3) No air circulation!
(4) WORSTTTTTTTTTTTT = lift under repair , not only one lift , but 2 !!!!! Which mean the elders have to walk for 3 levels !!!!!!!!!!!! Means grandma all have to climb for 3 floors ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wth!!!
(5) Whole shopping mall only have one Autopay Machine ?!!!!!!!!
(6) Manage to found another lift, which is hiding somewhere corner inside the mall
(7) Lift-Gate opened
(8) Walked inside
(9) Gate doesn’t close !!!!!!!
(10) Good ! Bravo! The second lift also SPOILED!!!!!!!
In conclusion , I will NEVER EVER go to Summit USJ again !! I rather pay the original price and shopping in 1utama !

Last Saturday I went for karaoke session with kor kor and this is what’s inside my stomach: salad buffet + spaghetti with tomato sauce, add on another bowl of porridge with toppings! Then yesterday went to Neway with mummy and friends , zyniz eat eat eat again ! Chicken chop + potato wedges + mushroom soup!
Besides that , we had our dinner at ss2 murni and I eat like a wolf @@!!!! Spicy Seafood Spaghetti, Cheese Naan, Mee goreng, Lao shu fen , roti telur !!!
And today, I brought chips and donuts for my colleague on today ^_^ Keropok !! Dunkin donut !!!! Eat & Eat & Eat !!! I get myself ju chiong fun ^.^
And….Sehr komische!!!!The funniest memo that I had ever receive from a SPORTS club!!! LOL!!!!!!

Letzte Nacht habe ich nicht gut geschlafen.Ich hatte keine Ahnung *.* Es geht mir nicht gut +.=!!! Wahrscheinlich bekomme ich eine Erkaltung.Hoffentlich ist nichts passiert.Zyniz habe so ein komisches Gefuhl o.O!!! Heute Nacht brauche ich zwei Decken !!! Hehhehe!
Das Ergebnis der Ielts ist noch nicht bekannt,Ich habe mir Sorgen und nervos gemacht.Hoffentlich ist alles fein #.# Gute Ergebnis des Prufung ist die Hauptsache !!! Nachste Woche !!
What a Thursday ….i hurt my finger again x.x” Most probably you all will think that zyn get paper cut, AGAIN? Or …I stuck a cactus needle in my finger again? Well, is just that I did not pay attention and I simply use my hand to search for the calculator without looking inside the drawer *.*! Ding*!! Yes! A needle kisses my finger tenderly :( It’s hurt and I can still feel the numbness! @@! In conclusion, stationery is my no.1 enemy; this is a FACT which I can’t deny it!!!!!
